For decades Kenya was an African success story, a peaceful democracy with enviable economic growth. That all changed after an explosion of ethnic violence that followed the last general election.
Kenya goes to the polls again today and Justin Rowlatt asks if a repeat of those events can be avoided and the economy can continue to grow.
