Asian Elderly in Bradford: The struggles of later life
40,000 people a year are having to sell their homes to fund their social care in later life. That’s according to a study called Reforming Social Care. It’s by David Ward, the Liberal Democrat MP for Bradford East. The findings also show that Asian Elderly are amongst the most vulnerable, and Mr Ward says the problem is a growing one that isn't going to go away. But are there problems affecting Asian elders that are different to others?
