Stigma, secrecy and shame: A warning from Nottingham

A report released in 2011 found a culture of stigma, secrecy and shame surrounding mental illness in Britain's South Asian communities, resulting in reduced marriage prospects, lowered community status and social exclusion. So fast forward to 2013 and have things improved? Or should more be done to tackle attitudes towards mental illness, particularly in Britain's Asian communities?
