Mark O'Keefe, principal trumpet with the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Scottish Symphony Orchestra talks about his interests in playing a diverse range of music outside his work with the orchestra. He describes the importance of working in new areas, experimenting with music and what these experiences bring to his ‘day job’ with the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ SSO. He also talks about his role as a teacher and the satisfaction that gives him. This clip features a solo performance of the traditional Irish piece, 'My Lagan Love'.
