Basketball - an introduction
An introduction to the basic aspects of basketball including the roles of the defenders and attackers, and the scoring system. In a basketball game there are two teams of five players and two halves of 20 minutes each. You cannot bounce the ball, pick it up and start bouncing again. Also you cannot bounce the ball, pick it up and start walking. As a defender you need to stay low and slide to keep up with the opposition, except at the basket, where they can take a block. Attackers need to use their ball-handling skills to get past the defender.
(Please note - A basket counts for one, two or three points depending on where the shot is taken on the court. Also, it is the team who scores the most points who wins the game.)
