Scots at home - Thomas

Thomas lives in Aberdeen and speaks Doric. His Mum encourages him but feels he often speaks slang or 鈥榗ommon鈥� instead. Author James Robertson talks about how all languages evolve. Thomas is unsure about which words are Scots and which are slang and feels that a visit to the Scots Scuil to take part in a series of workshops will help.
