Today, poverty has become complicated; it is not simply about a lack of money but a lack of opportunity. As unskilled work has become increasingly hard to find, it has become more difficult to find a way out of poverty. Should the government be doing more to help people escape the 鈥榩overty trap鈥� or have we created a nanny state?
