Using rare early film, archive newsreel and contemporary footage, we take a time-traveller's voyage to early 20th Century London and some of the immigrant communities of the time including the original China Town of Limehouse with it's mythical opium dens, Clerkenwell's Little Italy, and Lascar sailors - the roots of the Multicutural London of today.
