Parental guilt: Tina and Angeline
Angeline had looked forward to parenthood, so why was the reality so different? Postnatal Depression made it difficult for her to bond with her baby girl, but unaware that this was the problem, she'd blamed herself.
Her friend Tina understood. She'd had a similar experience and together they supported one another. Tina and Angeline are both part of the charity MAWS ('Maw' meaning mother), which aims to destigmatise issues around perinatal mental health.
