On Saturday morning from 9, Phil will keep you up to date with all the Olympic action and have a chat to 鈥楢 Place In The Sun鈥� TV presenter Jasmine Harman about her programmes on hoarding which started by telling the story of her own mums obsession.
As usual, Phil will be raiding the archives for music and local memories and asking you to guess in which mystery year Leyland Cars at Cowley were looking for line workers to make the Princess on 拢72 for a 40 hour week, Oxfords New Theatre was renamed 'The Oxford Apollo Theatre, and The Castle Shopping Centre was opened in Banbury (now called Castle Quay).
Plus there鈥檚 brain teasing fun with The Riddle, great music including Motown Magic, and Phil Gayle and Friends will be live at the Didcot Farmers Market.
