                Lessons from Warfare
The Royal Victoria Infirmary, Belfast was on the frontline of 'the Troubles' in Northern Ireland. Lessons which were learned in warfare helped in treating injuries of other kinds. Harold Williamson reports from the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, where a team of surgeons have developed new techniques of neurosurgery from the violence of Ulster.
