Reggie Yates investigates why teens join gangs.
Radio One DJ and presenter of The Voice, Reggie Yates, was raised on a council estate in a house that was dependant on benefits. He chose to turn his back on the criminal gangs that were a fact of life in his neighbourhood and has always believed that others in similar circumstances can make the same choice. Reggie puts his belief to the test in three months of filming that take him from the scene of turf wars in London to the spot where an 11 year old boy was shot dead by a teen gang member in Liverpool. He is allowed into the lives of former gang members, some of whom have been to jail, others who have been stabbed numerous times. Will Reggie's "firm views" about personal responsibility be changed along the way?
