Elizabeth Harwood & Roland Jones 鈥� Love Unspoken from Merry Widow (1970)
Ken Bruce continues to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the 成人快手 Concert Orchestra. The second programme features another treat from the 成人快手 archives: a concert celebrating the birth centenary of the Austro-Hungarian composer Franz Leh锟絩, which was recorded at London's Royal Festival Hall on 2 May 1970.
It is conducted by Vilem Tausky and features the English soprano Elizabeth Harwood and the Welsh tenor Rowland Jones performing Love Unspoken from Leh锟絩's operetta The Merry Widow.
