Today, musician and author, Julian Dawson chats about his book '...And on Piano' a biography of one of the great unsung heroes of rock music, session keyboard player supreme, Nicky Hopkins.
Over a 35 year career untill his untimely death in 1994, Nicky played on hundreds of records and with such giants as Rod Stewart, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Kinks, Ella Fitzgerald and many many more. You probably own a record with him playing on infact!
