A whole army of masked crusaders is fighting crime on Britain's streets at night.

At least SIXTEEN amateur super-heroes have been identified. They have names such as Vague, Swift, Black Arrow, Captain Champion, The Statesman (pictured) Lionheart and Terrorvision - and fight a range of injustices from animal cruelty, halting underage drinking and, in the case of the superbly-named Angle Grinder, removing wheel clamps from cars!!

So while we salute these brave heroes, we want some names for our own Yorkshire Superhero and Super Villian's...

Batley Man?
The Malham Cove? (obviously a villain!)
The Shipley Surfer?
Dr Pocklington?
The Great Hecks Men?

OR are there any places near you that sound like a superheroes secret identity?
Kirk Smeaton? Cherry Burton? Denholme Clough? Kilnsea Clays? Cridling Stubbs?
