During the miners’ strike of 1984- 85, coaches full of miners were targeted by the police as they attempted to make their way to illegal demonstrations. Ex-Miner Norman Strike and former transport police officer Steve Woodward explain how the coach became central in a game of cat and mouse between the opposing sides.
