Galloway Irish meets Ulster-Scots
Willie Drennan presents a programme from Galloway where A Kist is at the Wigtown Book Festival. Willie and farmer, Ian McHarg, ‘the Stranraer poet’ are putting on a show called ‘Galloway Irish meets Ulster-Scots’ on board the Stena HSS ferry. They are joined by Ian Burrows on pipes, Jackie Flavell on double bass and Carrie Flack on fiddle. Willie and Ian talk about what is in store at the festival and we hear them play some music.
