Jim Devenney on the Francis Makemie Summer School
After 350 years, one of Ulster Presbyterianism’s leading lights gets his own summer school.
Jim Devenney tells Liam Logan more about the Francis Makemie event which takes place at the Mount Errigal Hotel in Letterkenny from April 27th -29th.
It commences with a launch and an evening of music and crack on Friday; there will be keynote speakers on the Saturday followed by dinner and entertainment including Bluegrass Music from the Broken String Band.
On the Sunday, there will be a tour of early historical sites of east Donegal along with a visit to Monreagh Church for unaccompanied singing of the psalms.
