A visit to The Globe Inn in Dumfries
Liam Logan visits the oldest pub in Dumfries, 鈥楾he Globe Inn鈥� in High Street established in 1610, where he meets Jane Brown, the Proprietor in the howff.
Robert Burns lodged in this pub for a time - and also frequented it as a customer.
Jane points out 鈥楾he Poetry Chair鈥� and takes Liam to the Burns Bedroom where the bard once stayed.
Jane points out the etchings engraved in the room which have been authenticated.
