Opening Night of Border Counties Gathering
Liam Logan attends the opening night of the Border Counties Gathering, organised by the Ulster-Scots Heritage Council which has planned a series of events throughout October in the border counties.
In Donegal Town, he listens to Moyne Pipe Band before catching up with Derek Rainey, Development Officer for the Ulster-Scots Agency for the west of Ulster.
Derek tells Liam a bit about the events taking place; and Norman Henry who is Chairman of the South Donegal Ulster-Scots Association (set up in 2002) discusses their activities and tells Liam about the interest in Ulster-Scots in this part of the country. (Broadcast: 28 Oct 2006)
