Jackie Morrison meets John Craig
Jackie heads north to meet her old friend, John Craig of Balnamore, originally a horseman from Ballintoy who worked at dragging seaweed from the shore with two horses.
John recalls his earlier days and how he was taught to bake: even now, he bakes his own pancakes every week.
He tells Jackie about snedding turnips; working at the lint dam; attending dances; and wearing white heather to the Lammas Fair to improve his chances of meeting a girl! (Broadcast: 19 Jul 2006)
