Brian Finch on translating the New Testament
Over in Scotland, Kist meets up with Brian Finch, a published poet and theologian, who is hoping to translate the New Testament into Scots.
He tells us it鈥檚 already been translated three times: once in 1520 by Nisbett; then by Smyth in Canada; and most recently, Lorimer鈥檚 version.
Finch explains why his version will be different and reads his version of the Lord鈥檚 Prayer. (Broadcast: 09/10/2005)
