End of the road?
Right on the edge of Ranthambore National Park, it's clear to see where the tree line ends and the agricultural lands begin. Thousands of people and thousands of livestock live within the area surrounding the park and beyond. The irony is that the tigers inside the park are a success story, they are doing really well, but where can they go? They're running out of living space. The edges of the park aren't good places for tigers. There's very little natural prey for them, so to survive they must feed on livestock, instantly putting them in conflict with the local people. Many tigers have died in these areas as a result of poaching and poisoning.
