Programme 4
Music and poetry at a concert in Ballymoney Town Hall.
We open the programme with John Trotter and the Ulster-Scots Experience from their spring concert in Ballymoney Town Hall. Writer, Wilson Burgess from Aghadowey reads us his new story, ‘The Visit’.
The Belfast Festival at Queen’s is coming up and one of the shows will be ‘In Fragrant Delicht’ with Liz Lockhead, the new Poet Laureate of Glasgow, and Dundee singer, Michael Marra. We hear his song, ‘Neil Gow’s Apprentice’, a tribute to Dougie McLean from the 1991 CD, ‘On Stolen Stationery’.
