Invertebrate expert George McGavin gets up close to one of the world's strangest spiders.

George is part of an international team of scientists, cavers and wildlife filmmakers who ventured deep into the heart of the remote tropical island of New Guinea to explore a giant extinct volcano - Mount Bosavi. They lived deep in the rainforest, searching for rare creatures and unknown species. Their aim? To find the evidence that will help stop this forest from being felled for timber.
