Bells on Sunday comes from the Church of St Mary and St Giles Buckerell in Devon. The church is said to have been dedicated in the early 14th century and has been subject to various alterations over the centuries and an extensive restoration in the early 19th century. The three stage tower houses a ring of six bells including two bells that were cast around 1450 in Exeter. The Tenor weighs eight hundredweight and is tuned to the note of B flat.
