Pianist Sunwook Kim performs live in the studio. Plus Tom Service celebrates the sounds and music of Oliver Postgate's work on the 100th anniversary of his birth

Tom Service is joined in the Saturday Morning studio by internationally acclaimed pianist and winner of the 2006 Leeds International Piano Competition, Sunwook Kim.

On the 100th anniversary of Oliver Postgate's birth, Tom explores the weird and wonderful music and sounds of Postgate's most iconic creations including Ivor the Engine, Clangers and Bagpuss.

Plus the continuation of 成人快手 Radio 3鈥檚 25 for 25: Sounds of the Century 鈥� a series of brand new commissions celebrating and commemorating some of the biggest events of the 21st century so far. This week, in Echoing Souls performed by the 成人快手 Concert Orchestra Los-Angeles-based Japanese composer Karen Tanaka commemorates the victims of the T艒hoku earthquake and tsunami which caused the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster and was the most powerful earthquake in the country鈥檚 history.
