Firefighter Lisa wants a change of pace by becoming a signwriter in the Scottish Highlands. Blacksmith Menelik is looking for financial security before proposing to his girlfriend.
Signwriter Lisa from Kent and blacksmith Menelik have travelled to Dom’s makers’ bootcamp in Oxfordshire, hoping to get the help they need to build their dream businesses.
Lisa is fed up with the daily commute into London. After 20 years as a firefighter, she’s looking for a change of pace and wants to move to the Scottish Highlands. With a full-time income to replace, Lisa needs to make a living from her work. Mentor Joby Carter thinks she has the skills but needs to speed up her work to make it profitable. Will Lisa rise to the challenge?
Blacksmith and part-time knife sharpener Menelik wants to propose to his girlfriend so they can settle down together, but first he wants to build a business that will give them financial stability. There’s no doubting his skill, but mentor Adrian thinks he needs to make more than just knives.
Can Adrian convince Menelik to take the plunge and help him to begin bringing in the sales so that he and his girlfriend can start a new life together?
