Joshua Burnside is a one-off. A totally distinctive and uniquely powerful songwriter. His music deftly weaves through the worlds of indie, folk and traditional with a much greater emphasis on the latter two in recent years. His songs feel like they have been sung for generations and handed down. His new album 鈥淭eeth of Time鈥� promises to be one of his best yet. He plays three tracks in session, ably assisted by the incredible Zarah Fleming and Dan Byrne-McCullough, and chats to Stephen about contemporary folk music and the spirit of the new album.
