Emma Barnett talks to Dominique and Gis猫le Pelicot鈥檚 daughter Caroline Darian about the impact of her father鈥檚 crimes on her family and her mother - and about the man she will never again call 鈥楧ad鈥�.
The Pelicot case will be remembered as the largest rape trial in France's history. Dominique Pelicot was convicted of drugging and raping his wife, Gis猫le, and inviting 50 men to their home to assault her as she slept. Caroline believes her father also raped her but accepts that she may never know the truth. In her view, Dominique Pelicot is a dangerous man who deserves to spend the rest of his life in prison.
