Toy Aeroplane, Magic Lantern and Corkscrew

Episode 8 of 30

Nigel Havers presides as five sellers aim to get the best price for their items, including a trunk, a magic lantern, a ride-on toy aeroplane, a corkscrew and some nursery posters.

First in today is Saima, with a dome travel trunk from the early 1900s. She will be targeting JB and Ian, who both love obscure furniture pieces. But will any of the dealers bid high enough to meet the price that Saima wants for it?

Next in is Mike, who is a returning to the room with something a bit magical - a lantern from around 1900, complete with slides. With a bundle of joy on the way, he鈥檚 hoping to project some high bids from the dealers.

David and Marina are next to land in the room with a ride-on aeroplane. They are hoping the dealers will love it as much as they do and that the bids will take off.

Fourth in is Paddy, with a pre-prohibition corkscrew that has travelled a long way and has a story to tell. It's a charity shop find that could prove to be very popular with the dealers.

Last up is Laura with a collection of nursery posters. Having been stowed away for many years, it鈥檚 time for them to come out and face the dealers and hope for a fairy-tale ending.

The dealers are JB, Jacqui, Ian, Viki and Jo.
