Bruckner's 9th Symphony from Birmingham

Martin Helmchen joins the CBSO to play Mozart's dazzling Piano Concerto No 26 - the "Coronation", followed by Bruckner's mighty 9th symphony, conducted by Kazuki Yamada.

Martin Helmchen joins the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra to play one of Mozart's most strenuous workouts for a solo pianist - his dazzling Piano Concerto No 26 - the "Coronation".

In the second half, conductor Kazuki Yamada leads the orchestra in Anton Bruckner鈥檚 stirring and emotional Symphony No.9 - three mighty movements that form the powerful final statement from this uniquely brilliant composer.
