Golden Years…Johnnie’s final ‘Sounds of the 70s’
Johnnie signs off from his tenure on Sounds of the 70s with some of his favourite tracks from the decade, plus his own choice for the final entry into 'Johnnie's Jukebox'
As Johnnie brings his tenure on Sounds of the 70s to a close, he digs deep into the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ archives this week with an excerpt from a chat with one of his ultimate artists – David Bowie.
He'll choose some of his favourite tracks from the decade, and there will be a surprise guest or two from his broadcasting career.
The show this week is the end of an era, not only for Sounds of the 70s, which Johnnie has presented since 2009, but the end of an era in broadcasting, pioneered by Johnnie and his peers. He’s been a master of the airwaves for almost sixty years, with his impeccable knowledge, musical taste and presenting style.
Join Johnnie for one last celebration of his own Sounds of the 70s, complete with the final choice to be inducted into Johnnie’s beloved Jukebox....chosen by him!
