Majestic is the Rewind Selector!

Two happy hours of feel-good floor fillers! DJ, MC and remixer Majestic is the 'Rewind Selector', choosing the tracks that take him back to the dance floors of his youth.

Two happy hours of feel-good floor fillers and brilliant beats to make you move! DJ Spoony serves up tunes from the 70s to the present day, from soulful house to lyrical garage, and rhythmical RnB to awe-inspiring remixes. It's all killer and no filler with big dollops of nostalgia to make you smile. Our genial host also unveils his 鈥楴ew 2 Spoon鈥 which is a minty-fresh track that has caught his ears in the week.

Two very special mixes keep the Friday night vibes flowing. Kicking off the show is 'The Good Groove 90s Party Mix' for car seat dancing and living room sing-alongs everywhere. Then, later on, Spoony takes to the decks for 'The Good Groove Deep Cuts Mix', a glamorous, high energy selection that will make you want to push back the sofa and dance.

Tonight, DJ, MC and remixer extraordinaire Majestic chooses the tracks that take him back as he shares his early clubbing tales in 'Rewind Selector'. The North London DJ got his first set of second-hand decks at the age of 12 and then graduated to MC鈥檌ng at UK Garage nights. It was in 2021 when he came to the wider world鈥檚 attention with his hit remix of Boney M's disco classic 鈥楻asputin鈥. The DJ has remixed and sampled the great and the good from Earth, Wind & Fire to Whitney Houston, and it was just over a month ago that Scott Mills called on Maj鈥檚 services to remix 鈥業 Dreamed A Dream鈥 from Les Mis茅rables which Michael Ball 鈥渄ropped鈥 in his Sunday DJ set at Radio 2 in the Park in Preston! If you鈥檙e a regular listener to the Good Groove you will know that Spoony adores Majestic's reworking of Kid Creole鈥檚 鈥楢nnie鈥.
