Your reaction to the release of offenders to ease overcrowding in prisons. Your experience of living with cancer. And who are the most iconic voices in TV, film and radio?
Nearly two-thousand offenders are being released today as part of the Ministry of Justice’s emergency plan to ease the overcrowding in prisons in Wales and England. The plan excludes prisoners jailed for violent offences with sentences of at least four years, as well as sex offenders and domestic abusers. Last week it was announced the prison population was at an all time high with the Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer saying the situation is at crisis point. What’s your reaction? What do you think needs to happen to solve the crisis in our jails?
The Princess of Wales, has released a video speaking about her relief at completing her course of chemotherapy. Earlier this year Princess Catherine revealed she was having cancer treatment and has been out of sight for much of the year. But in an emotional video message she says this year has been "incredibly tough" and "that life as you know it can change in an instant". Can you relate to what Princess Catherine said? Do her words resonate with you? What’s your experience?
The legendary voice of the Star Wars supervillain Darth Vader and Mufasa in The Lion King - James Earl Jones - has died at the age of 93. His voice is unmistakable – but who else stands out for you? Bonnie Tyler? Richard Burton? Our very own Roy Noble? Or who can forget Sir David Attenborough?
