Safe Night NI and the preservation of crafts

Safe Night NI and the preservation of crafts.

Tanya Kearns, founder of the campaign group Safe Night NI is on a mission to encourage Stormont to tighten laws on spiking and to make it a criminal offence. After falling victim to a spiked drink herself three years ago, she now works hard to educate and inform the public of the dangers and how they can keep themselves safe during a night out.

And as August Craft month draws to a close, Caoimhe chats to independent yarn dyer Tracey Whitehead who runs workshops to the public, on why it is important to celebrate the craft sector and to preserve them.
