Empowering women to get into sport

It's South Asian Heritage Month and the Olympics, so Harpreet talks to kickboxing champion, Harleen Kaur on finding a sport that’s right for you while keeping the costs low.

We’re deep in a summer of sport, enjoying the Euros and Wimbledon, and the Summer 2024 Olympic Games starting this week (w/c 29th July).

To celebrate South Asian Heritage Month, Harpreet explores how you can feel empowered to find a sport that’s right for you while keeping the costs of equipment and classes low.

We have the first British Asian female to represent England kickboxing in the world championships. Martial artist and kickboxing champion Harleen Kaur. Harleen will talk about their love for kickboxing and the challenges they’ve overcome in male-dominated spaces.

We'll discuss what we can learn from their journeys and how we can empower ourselves to step out of our comfort zones to build confidence in all areas of life. Plus, we’ll explore what you can do if you want to have a side hustle as a PT, coach, or trainer.
