Today, Finnish conductor Mikko Franck and the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra continue their cycle of Sibelius symphonies with a dazzling performance of No.6. There’s also Mozart and Galuppi from Icelandic pianist Vikingur Ólafsson, Nielsen’s tone poem Pan and Syrinx from the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ National Orchestra of Wales, and the Danish String Quartet plays Boccherini.

You can also hear another of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons from recorder-player Erik Bosgraaf and the Wroclaw Baroque Orchestra, recorded at last autumn’s London International Festival of Early Music.
