Cluster - Zuckerzeit

Stuart's featured album is kosmische musik classic Zuckerzeit by Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Dieter Moebius aka Cluster.

Stuart presents another smorgasbord of leftfield and experimental music . This week he'll be piling your plate high with Avant RnB from east London, field recording ambience from Northumbria and folk jazz from Leeds, plus a sprinkling of Nordic muscle jazz and a pinch of monastic doom.

And we revive the Krautrock vs Kosmiche Musik controversy with featured album Zuckerzeit by Cluster. Released in 1974, it was the third album by the duo of Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Dieter Moebius and marked a move towards a slightly more pop sound (Zuckerzeit does, after all, mean Sugar Time).
