The Reverend Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad chat to Rick Stein and writer Chris Bush.
Rick Stein joins Kate and Jason ahead of a UK tour which starts on the 15th March. In An Evening with Rick Stein he will chat about his favourite memories from nearly 50 years of gastronomic experience.
They鈥檒l find out more about his great-grandfather, Henry Parkes, a 19th century Methodist missionary. Henry was one of the first missionaries to travel into China after the Opium Wars.
They will also be joined by the Writer of Standing at the Sky鈥檚 Edge 鈥� Chris Bush. The show has won the Olivier Award for Best New Musical, UK Theatre Award for Best Musical Production, and the South Bank Sky Arts Award and it transfers to the West End following sold-out runs at the National Theatre and Sheffield Theatres. Originally written as a love letter to Sheffield, it charts the hopes and dreams of three generations over the course of six tumultuous decades, navigating universal themes of love, loss and survival. Music is by Richard Hawley 鈥� also from Sheffield.
