Sir David Jason and Jay Blades help a creative veteran to learn carpentry to build her own memorial bench and discover that leatherwork is harder than it looks.

Sir David Jason and Jay Blades have brought the Touring Toolshed to the Royal Three Counties Show in Malvern, Worcestershire. This is a large agricultural show and attracts enthusiasts with all sorts of traditional and rural crafts and hobbies.

Their first guest is a veteran from Wales called Paula, who longs to learn some carpentry skills so that she can make a memorial bench for veterans. She's partnered up with talented wheelwright Phil Gregson, who promises to help with her very special carpentry project.

Meanwhile, David and Jay meet with leatherwork master Nigel Armitage. The pair roll their sleeves up and learn the basics of leatherwork. Together, they make a leather bottle tub, using traditional techniques.

Finally, David and Jay meet talented glassblower Terri. She shares one of her passion projects – incredible sculptures made from glass.
