Jamie Macdougall shares a recent performance of Mahler鈥檚 stunning Das Lied Von Der Erde, by Scottish mezzo soprano Karen Cargill, tenor Brenden Gunnell and the 成人快手 Scottish Symphony Orchestra conducted by Alpesh Chauhan. There鈥檚 Christmas music from the choir of St Mary鈥檚 Cathedral in Edinburgh and a recent release from the Choir of St Machar鈥檚 Cathedral in Aberdeen. Tchaikovsky鈥檚 spectacular second piano concerto brings some festive cheer with the RSNO and pianist Xiayin Wang, plus Jamie shares news of choral concerts by the Inverness Singers, the RSNO Youth Chorus, Dundee Choral Union and Aberdeen Choral Society.
