Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie present a feast of music and chat for weekend breakfast.

Today guitarist, singer and songwriter Thurston Moore shares his 'First, Last and Everything' - that鈥檚 the first record he owned, the most recent one he enjoyed and the record that means 鈥榚verything鈥� to him. He also chats about his latest project... a memoir.

Thurston is a founding member of influential New York rock band Sonic Youth. Moving from Connecticut to Manhattan in 1978, he co-founded the band with Kim Gordon and Lee Ranaldo in 1981. Sonic Youth went on to have an internationally successful thirty year career. Their album 鈥楧aydream Nation鈥� was added to the Library of Congress鈥� National Recording Registry in 2006. As well as sharing his musical passions, Thurston talks to Mark and Stuart about the band, his career and his life in music.
