'Their flares are wider than in the 70s!'

Patrick from Derry says the latest fashion for flares doesn't float his boat.

"Could you play me any tune to cheer me up?" says Patrick in Derry. "I was watching the latest on ladies fashion on the TV, and they're wearing wide flares like they just stepped out of bed."

"I never heard of them wearing flares in bed!" Sean says.

"I hope they don't come to Derry," says Patrick. "They're about three times as wide as the bell bottoms we wore in the seventies. I'll have a stroke if they catch on in Derry!"
