A service led by the Revd Dr Jennie Hurd, one of the District Chairs of the bilingual Synod of the Methodist Church in Wales.
According to the song by Elton John, 鈥淪orry seems to be the hardest word.鈥� It can be hard to admit when we鈥檙e wrong, but it can be even harder to forgive. Yet forgiveness is at the heart of the teaching of Jesus and the Christian message. In this service Jennie Hurd considers both the forgiving of others as well as forgiving ourselves.
Readings are taken from Genesis 50: vs 15-21 and Matthew 18: 21-25. Hymns include 鈥淎mazing grace鈥�, 鈥淒ear Lord and Father of mankind鈥� and 鈥淕od forgave my sin in Jesu鈥檚 name鈥�.
