'It's all right mammy! I'm using chopsticks.'

Sean's grandson says handwashing is optional when he's eating Chinese food.

"One of my daughters arrived up at the house yesterday," Sean says, "and she had her wee boy with her. He's about five or so. They got something from the Chinese - noodles and whatever, and they were using chopsticks. So he was getting a bit fidgety, and she said to him, 'Have you got to go to the toilet?' And of course he did, and he went, and then he sits down at the table, and she asks him, 'Did you wash your hands, boy?' And he says, 'It's all right, mammy! I'm using chopsticks!'"
