For the Radio 2 Culture Club, Jo chats to TV critic Emma Bullimore about the latest releases, including Painkiller, Alone, the new season of Heartstopper and the final season of Billions.

After first hitting our screens in 2016, Billions is back for its final season. Starring Damien Lewis and Paul Giamatti, the show tells the story of billionaire hedge fund manager Bobby Axelrod and US Attorney Chuck Roades.

Heartstopper is a British coming-of-age romantic comedy series about a gay teenage boy who falls in love with his classmate. The show explores the pair鈥檚 relationship, as well as the lives of their friends.

Painkiller looks at the birth of the opioid crisis in America, focusing specifically of Purdue Pharma, the manufacturer of OxyContin.

In the latest survival show Alone, eleven people are dropped in Canada鈥檚 remote wilderness and must compete to survive the longest鈥� completely alone.
