The Revd Nick Sissons
A service led by the Revd Nick Sissons, Superintendent Minister of the Bangor and Holyhead Methodist Circuit. The evening edition of the programme includes My Favourite Hymn.
We live in a very unpredictable world. Nowadays climate change makes us particularly mindful of the growing unreliability of our weather, but in reality throughout history harvests and the livelihoods of those dependent upon them have always been fraught with uncertainty. In today鈥檚 service recorded in St Paul鈥檚 Methodist/URC Church in Penmaenmawr on the north Wales coast, Methodist Minister Nick Sissons selects two biblical passages with an agricultural theme and considers what they have to say about the nature and power of God. Bible readings are taken from Psalm 65, Isaiah 55: 10-13 and the parable of the sower as told in Matthew 13: 1- 9.
Hymns include 鈥淎ll creatures of our God and king鈥, 鈥淪pirit of God, unseen as the wind鈥 and 鈥淵ou shall go out with joy鈥.
