Fontaines DC鈥檚 Grian Chatten plays a Sofa Session for Jo., including tracks from his debut solo project Chaos for the Fly.

Fontaines DC formed in 2017 when Grian Chatten, Carlos O鈥機onnell, Tom Coll, Conor Curley and Conor Deegan met at music college. Their Mercury nominated debut album Dogrel was swiftly followed by 2020鈥檚 Grammy nominated A Hero鈥檚 Death, and 2022鈥檚 Ivor Novello nominated Skinny Fia. This year the band also won best international group at the Brit Awards.

The concept of Chaos For The Fly came to Grian whilst on a night time beach stroll. Deciding that the vision he had for the album didn鈥檛 align with Fontaines D.C.鈥檚 next steps, Grian embarked on the project alone.

Following the album鈥檚 release on 30 June, Grian joins Jo to perform a sofa session, including tracks from the new project and a never-before-heard cover.
