Derry City and Strabane District Council considers joining Mid Ulster Council in taking legal action against the Department for Communities over cuts to the Rates Support Grant.
Derry City and Strabane District Council is considering joining Mid Ulster Council in taking legal action against the Department for Communities at Stormont. It's over a decision to cut the Rates Support Grant - which is administered by the Department to seven councils in the most deprived areas to help pay for services.
